Friends Like You

The Positive Thoughts and Natures Thoughts dies are retiring.

Which makes me sad as I do love these two products.

With them retiring they are while supplies last.

So happy I have mine.

I used soft colours for this card. They work so well with the Soft Suede.

Totally loving the colour combo.

So what do you think of the sentiment?

I’m planning on using this card as a birthday card for a friend.

Hoping they like it.

Here’s the Bits and Bobs

Card Base- 8.5”x 5.5” scored at 4.25” on the long side.
First layer 5.25”x 4”
Second layer 5”x 3 3.75”
You’ll need a piece to cut the rectangle from the dies set.
Scraps  for stamping the flower, greenery, and butterfly.

Thanks so much for stopping by.,

Cheers 🍻

The August–December 2020 Mini Catalogue Inspiration POINSETTIA PLACE SUITE When you are looking to create traditional and elegant Christmas cards, the Poinsettia Place Suite is one you'll reach for year after year. Special touches like the flocked vellum in the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper (#153486), the dazzling Beaded Pearls (#153534), and the elegant Real Red Sheer Ribbon (#153535) make this suite stand out and shine. I also love that the Poinsettia Dies (#153522) have duplicates of several dies. That means when you stamp the layering poinsettia and leaf images from the coordinating Poinsettia Petals stamp set (#153475), you can save time by cutting out two of each at one time. We all love to save time! From traditional colours to modern, monochrome elegance you'll be amazed at all the different styles you can create with this suite. Below, I'm sharing a tutorial that combines a bit of rustic charm with elegant gold and embossed accents. I can't wait to see what you'll create with this gorgeous suite!

Oh, it’s a beautiful World!
This bundle is perfect for making masculine cards.
And you’ll also need the World of Good DSP. I’m loving the hints of Brass throughout the DSP.
The Brass gives that hint bling that’s not noticeable. 😂
And for those who know me I’m loving the bling!

Here’s the how to’s
Card base is 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4 1/4” on the longer side.
The Brass Foil is 5 1/4” x 4 “. You’re going to want to take your Globe die and the stars from the Stitched Stares and centre them in the centre of the Brass foil. And rumps it through your die cutting machine. The next layer is 5”x 3 3/4”. And the piece for the sentiment will need to be the size you need for your sentiment. Mine was 1 1/4”x 2 3/4”. I did trim it down to fit the sentiment.
I glued the layer with my liquid glue and added dimensionals to the Globe, stars and sentiment.

Wanting to thank you so much for stopping by.

Painted Harvest Thankful

Painted Harvest Thankful

It’s hard to believe that Summer is just about over. I’m not to keen on Fall all because what comes after it. But I’m loving Fall colours. Like the Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry. Now they are totally Fall.
In making this card I did use the Stamparatus. Love this tool. If you don’t have one it is a must to your Stampin tools.
I do have a video on my Facebook.com/creatinwithsharon
Check it out.

The card base is 8 1/2” x 5 1/2 “
I then cut a piece of Crushed Curry to 5 1/4” x 4”
And embossed it with the Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder
The Very Vanilla is 4” x 2 1/2”
And I have a scrap Very Vanilla for the sentiment
