CASE-ing Tuesday #161 I find it such a honour to have requests for Birthday cards. Thinking the office my son works at must really like my cards.  Cause when there's a Birthday, Mama Bear gets a text  saying that they need a card for a co-worker. And since I hadn't come up with one for CASE-ing Tuesday #161 why not kill two birds with one stone! The Healing Hugs Stamp set has been sitting on the shelf and thinking it’s about time to dust it off. So here’s what I came up with.

Love how the Basic Jewel Pearls add so much to the card.  Gives it that vintage look. Let’s hope the  recipient loves it as much as I do!

CASE-ing Tuesday #160

Here’s my card for the week. 

Hard to believe I’m thinking of Christmas! 

I do love the Christmas season but it’s only the middle of August!

This month is bittersweet for me as summer is coming to an end and it’s my favourite season.

But the bright side my husband is coming home after being away for five month  on deployment. It’s going to be wonderful having him home.

I’m loving the colour combo. I don’t know about you but I get my inspiration from  just about anywhere. I was watching Sex and the City (love this series) and Carrie was wearing a outfit in 

this colour combo which I totally loved.
So off to the craft room I went. 
And this was what I came with.

Here’s the how to...
Card base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored on the 4 1/4 inches.
The Copper Foil Paper is 5 1/4 x 4 inches.   What you want to do now is take the framelit from the stitched  label frameless and cut it out using the copper foil. With a piece of min
T macaron that is cut at 5 x 3 3/4 that  using the copper foil. With a piece of mint macaron that is cut at 5 x 3 3/4. You want to emboss this piece using the tufted embossing folder.  With a scrap piece of Mint Macaron card stock cut it with a circular framelit from the stitched label framelits.  Stamp your sentiment using the verse Mark and sprinkle with the copper embossing powder and with your heat tool heated up. I love layers so I used  dimensionals om the copper foil  and   Adhered onto your tufted card stock and then dimension the sentiment onto the Copper Foil.

Here’s my take on this weeks card. 

Totally loving the Tufted embossing folder. It adds so much detail. I was going to use Rhinestones to add a bit of bling but that would of been a lot of rhinestones. So I  improvised by using the Wink of Stella. Love how it turned out. .

It was such a fast and easy card. The Blends are wonderful to colour ribbon to match your paper. I just took the Blends and ran it over the ribbon to give it a bit of colour.
