Two-Tone Flora - Sympathy card



Here's another beautiful card using the Two-Tone Flora Stamp set and coordinating dies.This card is created with the large intricate floral die from the Two-Tone Floral dies.  

Pair the stamps and dies with the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper for super fast way to create a gorgeous card for any occasion.

Two-Tone Floral Dies

Fancy Flora 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper



Measurements:

Calypso Coral card stock: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 1/4"
Soft Succulent card stock: 5 ¼” x 4” - 2 pieces
Very Vanilla card stock: 5 ½” x 4 ¼”, 5” x 3 ¾” and scrap for label
Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper: 5 ½ x 4 ¼, 3 ¾” x 1”
Distressed Gold Specialty Paper: 1 ¾” x 4”
Simply Elegant Gold Trim: 15”

Instructions:

  1. Add Adhesive Sheets to the back of the quarter sheet of Very Vanilla cardstock. Die cut the largest floral die onto that piece. You may need to add a shim or two depending on your die cutting machine’s tension. 
  2. Remove all the pieces and the Adhesive Sheet backing and adhere the die cut to a piece of the Fancy Flora DSP. Once adhered, trim down to 5” x 3 ¾” and adhere it to a piece of the Soft Succulent cardstock. 
  3. Tie the Gold Trim around the front and adhere this to the card base. 
  4. Die cut the two leaf images from the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper. 
  5. Die cut one a label on the scrap of Very Vanilla card stock using the Something Fancy Dies. Stamp a greeting of your choice on the label using Evening Evergreen ink. 
  6. Adhere the gold leaves to the back of the label and adhere that to the front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  7. Add three Iridescent Pastel Gems. 
  8. Add a strip of the DSP to the other piece of Very Vanilla card stock for the inside of the card. Adhere that to the other piece of Soft Succulent cardstock and adhere to the inside of the card.
  9. Stamp an image on the inside, if you wish, and remember to stamp your envelope to match.
