White Sangria

Refreshing White Sangria – A Fruity Summer Favourite

I love a good sangria! While the traditional red version isn’t really my thing, give me a cold, fruity White Sangria and I’m happy. Of course, that’s just my preference! ๐Ÿ˜‰

This non-alcoholic version is light, refreshing and packed with fresh summer fruit. Peaches, strawberries, apple and citrus mingle with peach and apple juices before everything is topped off with a little bubbly. It’s perfect for sitting on the patio, serving at brunch, or sharing with friends on a warm summer afternoon.

Ingredients

  • 2 peaches, sliced
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 3 strawberries, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
    or 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • ½ cup peach syrup from a tin
    or substitute peach juice
  • ½ cup apple cider or apple juice
  • 1 bottle non-alcoholic sparkling wine
or substitute white grape juice or ginger ale
  • Ice

Optional Garnish: Extra fresh fruit and edible flowers

Directions

1. Prepare the fruit.
Slice the peaches, apple, strawberries, lime and orange and place everything into a large pitcher.

2. Add the juice.
Pour in the apple cider or apple juice, followed by the peach syrup or peach juice. Give everything a gentle stir.

3. Let those flavours mingle.
Pop the pitcher into the refrigerator for an hour or two. This gives the fruit time to release some of its flavour into the sangria.

4. Make it bubbly!
Just before serving, add plenty of ice and pour in the non-alcoholic sparkling wine. Stir gently so you don’t lose all those lovely bubbles.

5. Serve and enjoy.
Pour over fresh ice and add a few pieces of fruit to each glass. For an extra-pretty touch, garnish with edible flowers.

A Little Tip

Wait until you’re ready to serve before adding the sparkling wine so your sangria stays fresh and bubbly. If you prefer something a little sweeter, try ginger ale. For a fruitier version without as much sweetness, white grape juice works beautifully.

Cheers to summer sipping! ๐Ÿน☀️
