Share a Milkshake



Yum! This card looks good enough to eat! Create this scrumptious ice cream card using the Share a Milkshake stamp set and dies. You can also make a different ice cream using the waffle cone die. What a sweet card to make for that special friend.

Share a Milkshake Bundle

Supplies:

Bundle: Share a Milkshake (160396)

Dies: Basic Borders (155558)

Cardstock: Petal Pink (146985); Early Espresso (119686); Basic White (159276)

Designer Series Paper: Country Floral Lane (160375)

Stamp Pads: Smoky Slate (147113); Petal Pink (147108); Sweet Sorbet (159216); Early Espresso (147114)

Embellishments: Linen Thread (104199); Opaque Adhesive Backed Gems (160412)

Tools: Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine (149653)

Miscellaneous: Stampin' Dimensionals (104430); Stampin' Seal (152813); Mini Glue Dots (103683); Bone Folder (102300)

Measurements:

Petal Pink: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4", and a strip ½” x 4”
Basic White: 5 ¼” x 4”, a strip of 1” x 4”, and scraps for cup, ice cream, straws and cherry
Early Espresso: scrap for chocolate topping
Designer Series Paper: 1 ¼” x 3 7/8” and 2 ¼” x 3 7/8”

Instructions: 

  1. Adhere the large piece of Basic White card stock to the card front.
  2. Using the Basic White scraps, stamp the cup in Smoky Slate ink, the two ice creams in Petal Pink ink, the straw and cherry in Sweet Sorbet and the Cherry stem in Early Espresso.
  3. Cut the above pieces from the Basic White card stock and the chocolate topping from the Early Espresso card stock.
  4. Assemble the milkshake as shown in the picture and set aside.
  5. Adhere the DSP on both the top and the bottom of the card base.
  6. Stamp the sentiment onto the Basic White card stock with Smoky Slate ink. 
  7. Die cut the zig-zag border with the Basic White strip using the basic border dies and adhere to the top section of the DSP and at the bottom of the Basic White card stock.  Adhere the Petal pink strip on top of the zig-zag border.
  8. Wrap the linen thread around the card base and tie into a bow.  Secure it to the Petal Pink card stock using a mini glue dot.
  9. Adhere the cup to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then glue the Milkshake using Stampin' Seal onto the card front. 
  10. Randomly adhere the red gems onto your card and add a few small ones onto the top section of the milkshake so it looks like sprinkles.
