Week 11 of my 12 Weeks of Christmas

 



For the second to last week of my 12 Weeks of Christmas I have this very cute Lotion Holder.  It's a very easy last minute project!


Christmas Lotion Holder

Here are the products and measurements I used:


Supplies

Stamp set: Spruced Up (159694)

Cardstock and DSPPainted Christmas (156292) or any Christmas DSP 

Real Red (102482), Basic White 159276)

Ink: Real Red (147084)

Miscellaneous: Very Best Trio Punch (159878), Double Oval Punch (152242), 3/16" Iridescent Trim (159594), Tear & Tape Adhesive (154031), Festive Pearls (159963)


Measurements

Painted Christmas DSP: 6 1/2" x 6 1/2"

Real Red cardstock: a scrap for the tag back

Basic White cardstock: a scrap for the tag front

Iridescent Trim: approx. 8-10"


Instructions

    1. Take the 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" piece of DSP and score at 1 1/2' on any side.  This will be the bottom of the bag.
    2. Turn the paper and score at 1 1/2" from the score line to the bottom of the paper.
    3. Then score the entire length at 3".
    4. Score at 4 1/2" from the score line to the bottom of the paper.
    5. Then score the entire length at 6".
    6. Cut out the bottom right section (as shown in the diagram by the XXX in the bottom corner )
    7. Cut from the bottom to the scored line (as shown in the diagram marked 'Cut')
    8. Add a strip of Tear & Tape to the 1/2" section and the 3rd square (as shown)
    9. Fold the squares on the bottom inwards and adhere to the one with tear & tape on top. You may want to add a little glue to fully secure.
    10. Punch out the hole for the ribbon using the Very Best Trio Punch.
    11. Tie a bow using the Iridescent Trim.Punch a scalloped oval from the scrap of Real Red cardstock.
    12. Punch a plain oval from the scrap of Basic White cardstock.
    13. Stamp the sentiment in Real Red ink.
    14. Add three Festive Pearls to finish off.
