Measurements

Boughs of Holly DSP: 2 pieces 12" x 12"

Evening Evergreen cardstock: a scrap for the back tag

Basic White cardstock: a scrap for the front tag

Silver Threaded Twine: 2 pieces - one approx. 24" and one approx 18"

Instructions

  1. Place one of the 12" x 12" pieces of DSP into the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.  Score at 2" on one side.  This 2" flap will be folded down to form the top of the bag.  Note: If you have a directional patterned DSP be sure you have the DSP is lying the right way.
  2. Rotate the paper and score at 3" on the remaining sides.
  3. On one of the 12" pieces, fold the 2" flap down, burnish gently and adhere using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  4. Fold and burnish the other 3" sides.
  5. The score lines in the corners will have created a 3" square. On 2 adjacent corners, cut along each of the 3" score lines to cut away the flap. This piece is the front of the bag.
  6. Take the other 12" piece and fold the 2" side to the front. Burnish and adhere.
  7. Fold the 2" side toward the front. Burnish and adhere.
  8. On 2 adjacent corners, cut along ONE 3" side. Fold and burnish inwards. Fold the 3" flaps inwards.
  9. Now lay each large piece flat and overlap the bottom pieces and adhere together.
  10. Fold the two 3" flaps inwards and put glue on top of the flaps.
  11. Pull the front piece up and adhere the one flap to the inside of the side panel. Repeat for the other side.
  12. Lift up the other large piece and adhere the sides to the front. Press all sides down to ensure they have adhered correctly.
  13. Take a scrap of Evening Evergreen cardstock and using the Very Best Trio Punch, punch all 4 corners.
  14. Stamp the To From and the trees using Evening Evergreen ink.
  15. Take a scrap of Evening Evergreen cardstock, punch all 4 corners.Tie the 24" piece of twine around the top of the bag.  Then take the 18" piece of twine and loop through the opening on both tags.  Tie in a bow, looping through the other piece of twine.
