Week 7 of my 12 Weeks of Christmas

 


Put the charm in charming with this super cute Gnome Scissor Charm and diaper fold holder.  I used the Kindest Gnomes Bundle this week and the open line art style of these stamps makes them an easy colouring project.

Gnome Scissor Charm and Holder

Stamp and Die Bundle: Kindest Gnomes Bundle (159626)

Cardstock and DSP: Pool Party cardstock (122924), 

Basic White cardstock (159276), Storybook Gnomes DSP (159615)

Ink: Poppy Parade (147050) 

Stamp Pads: Jet Black Stazon Ink (101406)

Tools: Mini Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine (150673)

Stampin' Blends: Bermuda Bay (154878), Daffodil Delight (154883), 

Poppy Parade (154958), Smoky Slate - Dark (154904), Petal Pink (154893)

Measurements

Pool Party cardstock: 4" x 4"


Instructions

  1. Stamp the Gnome image onto the Shrinky Dinks using the Jet Black Stazon ink. Let the ink dry before colouring.
  2. Colour the Gnome using the Stampin' Blends (as shown in the photo). Let the Blends dry. Using the dark Smoky Slate Blend to add depth to the beard.
  3. Using the coordinating die, cut the Gnome out using the Mini Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.
  4. Punch a hole in the top of the Gnome's hat using the Crop-a-dile tool.
  5. Add the ring from the Cell phone charm.
  6. Heat up the Heat Tool and hold the Gnome in place using the tweezers from the Embossing Additions Tool Kit.
  7. Heat up the Gnome with the Heat Tool. It will start to shrink. Heat until it lies flat. 
  8. Diaper Fold Holder - Fold the 4" x 4" piece of Pool Party cardstock in half.
  9. Fold the left side over so the tip aligns with the centre of the opposite side.
  10. Fold the other side over to meet the opposite side. 
  11. Take the top flap and fold it down to cover the front folds.
  12. Fussy cut the trio of gnomes from the DSP.
  13. Stamp the Warm Wishes sentiment onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Poppy Parade ink. 
  14. Cut the ends of the sentiment and adhere to the diaper-fold holder using Stampin' Dimensionals.
