Week 6 of my 12 Weeks of Christmas




I used the gorgeous Fitting Florets Collection this week to make an elegant Christmas card.  This collection can be used for birthdays, anniversaries ... just about any occasion at all!

Here are the products and measurements I used:

Supplies 

Stamp and Die Set: Fitting Florets Collection (163129)

Cardstock, DSP and Specialty Paper: Evening Evergreen (155574), Soft Succulent (155776), Basic White cardstock (159276), Real Red & White Glimmer Paper (159578), 

Fitting Florets DSP (161814)

Stamp Pads: Evening Evergreen (155576)

Tools: Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine (149653), Paper Snips Scissors (103579),

Miscellaneous: Real Red Ribbon Combo Pack (159577), Effervescent Elements (158789), Window Sheets (142314), Real Red Stampin' Blends (154899), 

Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls (161822), Tear and Tape Adhesive (154031),

Measurements

Evening Evergreen cardstock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

Basic White cardstock: 4" x 5 1/4", Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper: 3 3/4" x 5", 

Real Red Glimmer Paper: 3" x 4", Soft Succulent scraps for leaves


Instructions

  1. Fold the large piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock on the score line and burnish. 
  2. Cut an oval using the smallest oval die from the centre of the piece of Basic White cardstock. Set the oval piece aside. Adhere the Basic White piece with the oval removed onto the card base with your Multi Liquid Glue. 
  3. Adhere the piece of DSP onto the Basic White.
  4. Stamp the sentiment onto the oval piece of Basic White cardstock. and adhere to the card front using Multi Liquid Glue.
  5. Cut an oval from the piece of Real Red Glimmer paper, using the same oval die as above. 
  6. Add Tear and Tape adhesive to the back of the thin outer red glimmer oval.
  7. Adhere a piece of Window Sheet to the back of the oval and trim the edges using the Paper Snips.
  8. Using the adhesive strips, line the back side of the glimmer ova. Don't leave any gaps between the strips.
  9. Adhere the red oval piece to the card front leaving a small space at the top edge to add the Effervescent Elements. Only add the small Effervescent Elements. Remove the backing from the adhesive and press to close.
  10. Using the scraps of Soft Succulent cardstock, cut 2 leaves using the leaf die and adhere on top of the red oval piece using Mini Glue Dots.
  11. Fold/roll the piece of Real Red ribbon into a small piece about 1" long. Cut down the middle of this piece to make 2 thin pieces of ribbon. Tie a bow and adhere to the card front using Mini Glue Dots.
  12. Adhere 3 Gold Adhesive-backed swirls to the card front.
