Trusty Tools


What an awesome card to make for the men in your life - especially for Fathers Day or birthdays! You can colour the open line-art tool images or simply fussy cut or die cut them from the Designer Series Paper.  The Trusty Tools Bundle is sure to be a popular addition to your collection!

Trusty Tools Designer Series Paper

Measurements:

Gray Granite card stock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored @ 4 ¼”, 3” x 4” for the toolbox, screw and bolts
Lost Lagoon card stock: 1 ¼” x 1/2”
Trusty Tool DSP: 4” x 4”, 4” x 1 ½” (red stripe), about 3” x 4” section, enough for 5 different tools)

Instructions:
    1. Cut out the various pieces of the tool box and screw and bolts using Gray Granite card stock.
    2. Using VersaMark ink with Black Embossing Powder and your Heat Tool, heat emboss the sentiment onto the toolbox bottom piece. 
    3. Glue the toolbox together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Attach the Lost Lagoon piece to the back of the toolbox bottom piece so you can see it through the holes. 
    4. Attach the handle behind the toolbox with either Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal.
    5. Adhere the large piece of striped DSP to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere the smaller piece of DSP to the top of the card leaving a small space between the two pieces. 
    6. Fussy cut or die cut the tools from the DSP and adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the front of the card base.
    7. Use Glue Dots to attach the tools to the toolbox. Start with the biggest tool (saw) and build around it. Attach the toolbox with Stampin' Dimensionals to the bottom of the tool box. 
    8. Adhere the measuring tape and screws and bolts to the top part) of the tool box.
