May the Season be Filled with Peace & Joy

I used the gorgeous Fitting Florets Collection this week

to make an elegant Christmas card.

This collection can be used for birthdays, anniversaries ... just

about any occasion at all!

Evening Evergreen cardstock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

Basic White cardstock: 4" x 5 1/4"

Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper: 3 3/4" x 5"

Real Red Glimmer Paper: 3" x 4

 Soft Succulent scraps for leaves

  1. Fold the large piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock on the score line and burnish.
  2. Cut an oval using the smallest oval die from the centre of the piece of Basic White cardstock. Set the oval piece aside.
  3. Adhere the Basic White piece with the oval removed onto the card base with your Multi Liquid Glue.
  4. Adhere the piece of DSP onto the Basic White.
  5. Stamp the sentiment onto the oval piece of Basic White cardstock. Adhere to the card front using Multi Liquid Glue.
  6. Cut an oval from the piece of Real Red Glimmer paper, using the same oval die as above.
  7. Add Tear and Tape adhesive to the back of the thin outer red glimmer oval.
  8. Adhere a piece of Window Sheet to the back of the oval and trim the edges using the Paper Snips.
  9. Using the adhesive strips, line the back side of the glimmer oval. Don't leave any gaps between the strips.
  10. Adhere the red oval piece to the card front leaving a small space at the top edge to add the small Effervescent Elements.
  11. Fold/roll the piece of Real Red ribbon into a small piece about 1" long.
  12. Cut down the middle of this piece to make 2 thin pieces of ribbon.
  13. Tie a bow and adhere to the card front using Mini Glue Dots.
  14. Adhere 3 Gold Adhesive-backed swirls to the card front.
  15. Remove the backing from the adhesive and press to close.
  16. Using the scraps of Soft Succulent cardstock, cut 2 leaves using the leaf die and adhere on top of the red oval piece using Mini Glue Dots.

Here's the video on how I completed this card
