Instructions:

  1. Prepare the 3D Embossing pieces – emboss the Basic White Front Easel piece using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and emboss the front Basic Black strip using the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder. Set aside.
  2. Using the Sweet Bugs Stamp Set, stamp and color the images with Stampin’ Blends. You will need the Caterpillar image, one of the three Tulip Plants, and two sets of the Ants. Add Wink of Stella wherever you would like a little sparkle. After coloring, die-cut all images using the coordinating Sweet Bugs Dies.
  3. For the inside layer, stamp and color the Grass & Daisy image from the Sweet Bugs Stamp Set along the bottom of the inside Basic White layer. Near the top of the layer, stamp HELLO Friend using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  4. About 2 1/2” from the top of the stamped inside layer, wrap the 5” piece of Old Olive Specialty Rickrack around the cardstock and secure on the back with Tear and Tape. Layer the Green Leaf Designer Series Paper from the Cute as a Bug Suite over the ribbon, leaving the scalloped edge just visible at the bottom. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere the colored Caterpillar and one Ant at the bottom over the stamped grass. Add a single Lady Bug Epoxy Embellishment to the leaf of the caterpillar. Adhere the completed layer to the inside of the Basic Black card base using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
  5. Layer the Exposed Brick embossed Basic White piece onto the Poppy Parade front layer using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
  6. Layer the 3” x 4” Poppy Parade Red Gingham Designer Series Paper onto the 3 1/4” x 4 1/4” Basic Black cardstock. Wrap the 4 1/4” piece of Old Olive Specialty Rickrack around the layered cardstock and secure on the back with Tear and Tape. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, layer the Basic Black embossed Lovely Stripes piece over the ribbon so the scalloped edge peeks out from the bottom of the Basic Black cardstock. Adhere the completed piece to the center of the Exposed Brick and Poppy Parade layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  7. On the 1 7/8” Basic White Circle, stamp Spread Joy using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and outline the sentiment with the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. Add Wink of Stella for extra sparkle.
  8. Using the banner piece from the Three Banner Punch punched from Poppy Parade cardstock, cut the banner in half and adhere it to the back of the Basic White circle, then attach the circle to the 2” Basic Black circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Before adhering this piece to the layered front from step 6, attach the stamped Tulip image to the back of the circle.
  9. Adhere the circle to the top of the completed front easel piece, adding five Ants as shown. Finish by adding the clear dots from the Lady Bug Epoxy Embellishments to the Tulips. Attach the completed front easel piece to the bottom 2 3/4” section of the card base.
